User Rating: 4 out of 5 starsI've eaten at the Beacon several times. The food is very good home cooking. I've enjoyed their hamburgers. The service was pretty good too. One thing I really liked was the spagetti. If you drive by at lunchtime on a weekday you will find the parking lot full.
User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsThis is a must when staying in town or driving by. Conveniently off the highway and close to I-65. You are immediately greeted once you come through the door and that's when the aroma hits you. Everyday the menu changes but it's always down home southern cuisine. They cook all my favorites (cornbread, greens, peas & rice, chicken, dessert, and SWEET TEA!) Everytime I visit family, I'll be there!
