User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsI am hispanic and are usually very critical of Mexican restaurants. I really enjoyed the flavor the food has. It is authentic and the dishes are really authentic too. Service is always very efficient. Not only your server attends you but almost everyone asks if you are doing ok (dont see that much). The only thing that frustrates me is the fact that a lot of the staff has a huge language barrier and most of them have a wondering eye when serving women ; )
On the comment about the cockroach, in this part of Alabama there are tons of what you call asian roached and are almost unavoidable if you like in certain areas, they are NOT like the nasty roaches that live in dirty houses and multiply. They look exactly alike but are TOTALY different. An asian roach is the equivalent of a moth that is attracted to the light of a restaurant and lives in wooded moist areas not restaurants. Place is very clean.-

Love it: To the review about the cockroach....sad fact is in south Alabama and Florida, you dont have to be nasty to have the occasional big nasty roach!
I think it is a clean place, great food, great serivce, great price! We are there alot! 
User Rating: 1 out of 5 starsNever Again - Need an EXTERMINATOR!: Used to love this place until a cockroach climbed the wall right next to me and a friend of mine while we were grabbing lunch... That was the end of La Bamba -Casa de la Cucaracha! NO GRACIAS!
