MY HUSBAND AND I CAME HERE TO GET AWAY FROM THE OVERPRICED BUSY ATMOSPHERE, AND WE FOUND IT WHEN WE CAME HERE. THE FOOD WAS GREAT, PORTIONS JUST RIGHT. I AM NOT A SEAFOOD LOVER AND I ABSOLUTELY LOVED THE MAUHI MAUHI.WE WILL DEFINATELY COME BACK. EVERYONE WAS SUPER FRIENDLY, AND ALL OF THE CUSTOMERS SEEMED TO ENJOY THEIR TIME THERE.
Ok, second day at the shores. It's raining, and we're looking for a good lunch. My husband is looking for a good po-boy. He loves trying things he's not tried before and he loves fresh seafood.
We had finally found parking, a block away! No problem, we thought, we'll just walk down and then shop in a few of the shopes loated next to the eatery.
We were seated and man, was it cold inside of the place. I was thinking that perhaps we should have set outside. The waiter took our drink order and must have seen how cold I was, he came back with our drinks an reported that he had also turned the air down. He said someone had knocked the air down to 50 degrees.
We scanned the menu and I, who usually don't stray from things I normally eat. So, I opted with the cob salad with chicken. My husband tho, decided on the red fish po-boy. The waiter said he made a good choice.
Our waiter was very attentive, the decor was accenting of a beach shack. The group beside us seemed very pleased with their order. I was a bit jealous that I didn't order the crab legs. The smelt yummy. But, it was only lunch and I wouldn't have been happy with only a few clusters.
Finally, our lunch arrived. It looked so good! My salad was perfectly porportioned and very appitizing. My husbands fish was excellant! He gave me a few bites and I would order that myself, now that I had tasted the fist. It was very good. My husband was very pleased!!!
Overall, the food was very tasty! The service very good and we enjoyed our visit. We would definately return again. Good Job!!
what a joke this place is, we ordered a bucket of royals shrimp for two and what was got 23 shrimp. the menu said its was 1.5 pounds of shrimp well its not even a pound. when we pick up the order the manager said it was our order we question the portion of the food and was told it was right and had a " take or leave it "attitude we will never eat there again it was a great value but not now (the manager had beer breathe too thats professional)
