This is and OUTSTANDING restaraunt! So good we made sure we stopped by the beautiful town of Magnolia Springs and eat at Jesse's with all of my relatives when they came. Wow! So good we ate lunch AND dinner there!
My seven year old grandaughter and I had a delightful meal in the beautiful glassed in room at Jesse's. I had the "special for the day" risoto seafood cakes with aspargus with a light tomato sauce which was delicious. My grandaughter had chicken fingers and fries (of course) Our waitress was delightful and so kind to my grandaughter. We will go back again and also take a little more time to check out the old timey Moore's Market next door.
A wonderful upscale but casual restaurant: Located in the old Magnolia Springs Post Office this lovely restaurant was everything I had been led to believe. The food was perfect, service excellent and the price was reasonable, $85 including 20% tip.
Linda had Prime Rib and it was a perfect medium rare and some mashed potatoes lightly seasoned. I had the famed Whiskey Steak which is a ribeye marinated in a secret sauce, sweet potatoe and both came with small salads. For desert, we had Creme Brulee, lol. The wine list is very adequate and priced reasonably.
We sat in the enclosed "porch" dining area, it's full of glass and has a high ceiling so it was a bit noisy but not really much of a bother. Go here early to avoid a wait and to check out the little grocery store next door. We also went to a wonderful Christmas party that Jesse's catered and they did a marvelous job. See ya soon!!
