Traveling from Birmingham to St. Louis, we stopped at The Lodge to try to watch a midseason college football game. True to their website, they had TV's, but the place was dirty and reeked of stale beer and cigarettes. We asked if there was another place close by where we could grab lunch and watch the game. The bartender was cool enough to direct us to Old Chicago a few blocks away.
The Lodge struck me much more as a dance club than a sports bar. Old Chicago was awesome....plenty of TVs, clean, well-staffed, and a good selection of eats from wings, to sandwiches, and pizza.
what in the world happenned to the lodge? it used to be the place... the big guy left, and the place quickly went down!!!! somebody needs to figure out where he went and get him back before this place closes...the fun is gone and the employees just dont care, they have some young pretty boy running it now and he dont have a clue only cares about his friends and gf. used to be the best place now its sad. :( bring back the big guy and keep it real...and me and my girls will be back... we were there 4 days a week...now 0
This is by far the cleanest bar in Clarksville.: If you're tired of dirty, sweaty bars with sticky floors and stickier clientele, then shoot on over to the Lodge Sports Bar. It's atmosphere is definitely unique when compared to the other bars around. This club actually looks like a lodge, weird right? The clean environment and happy people (staff, and customers) make this bar my favorite. There's always something going on, whether it's a contest (wet t-shirt, Jello wrestling, karaoke, wet nightie, etc.), a dance party, pajama/lingerie party, or free poker tournament. The awesome live music is a regular scene as well. They cater to everyone (country, hip-hop, soldiers, college students, younger, and older crowds). They have an open patio and full service patio bar (which I recommend; it's difficult to order from the main bar near the end of the night). If there was anything bad to say about the bar it would be that the mixed drinks are a little pricey, and don't make trouble (remember it's a clean bar and the bouncers keep it clean). They have pool tables, online trivia, online golf, and every sports game you could want to watch on 21 televisions. If you want a great night out away from the meat factories and drug deals, the Lodge is the perfect choice.
