Wal-Mart Supercenter

Having lived in Clarksville when they were building the supercenter on Ft. Campbell Blvd, I applied for a job prior to opening, was hired and helped set up several departments for opening. After which I was trained as a cashier at the old Div 2 store before becoming a cashier at the supercenter. From the day I was hired until I transferred to Utah I was treated, along with the other cashiers, like they really did consider us as human beings (not like Utah where we were treated like dirt) and always told us that we were the last person customers saw when they left and always smile and say "Thank you for shopping with us" and the customers always came back to my register when I worked. After I left that store I was told many had asked for me. This, unlike Utah, was so great to hear. I hear a lot of complaints out here and I also added mine to the supercenter here about the cashiers attitudes towards the customers, never smiling, never any interaction with them and to be quite frank about it, they were rude and acted like you were bothering them while they engaged in conversation with friends and other cashiers. I suppose I should have gone directly to the Home Office but I was so mad about how I was treated and how the cashiers and other associates treated the customers here in Utah I did not want problems. You have to be here to understand that statement. Anyway, I have nothing but the utmost respect for the Supercenter on Ft. Campbell, the manager ( who is the same one that was there when I was, and especially Kathy, who was the one that saw to it that the cashiers were trained right and I really wish that when I went back to Tennessee a few years ago that I had gone back to work there and not come back here. Very poor judgment on my part. So, if anyone at the Supercenter reads these, they will know who I am and to all of you, I miss you and I am so sorry I left. All my love to Store No. 1077. Phyl
