Excellent! It doesn't look like much, but the food was great! Even the fishier tasting sushi didn't taste fishy here. Typically when I go to japanese places the ginger dressing on the salads is really strong and overpowers all other flavors..but not here. It was light and just enough to be tasted but not overwhelming. I also admit I'm not an expert when it comes to sushi. My husband is a fanatic over it and it's taken me years of trying it at different places to develop a liking for it...but since he eats it whenever he can and he thought it was incredible, I trust his judgement. It's right next to Vanderbilt so parking was a little bit of an issue, but it's worth it!
This resturant was not that good. I mean I have pretty high standards for food but this place was 1 out of 10- 4. DO NOT LET THESE REVIEWS FOOL YOU! The inside was not attractive. The sushi tastes ok but still not that great. It took a while to get it. My boyfriend and I did not stay to order food.
A hidden treasure: Don't be fooled by the building's humble appearance the food makes up for it 10 fold. This is without a doubt the BEST sushi in Nashville. The Spicy Crunchy Shrimp Rolls are a must try! The only way your gonna get fresher sushi is if you catch it yourself. Of course, I'll be back real soon.
