Service, service, helpful service!: Since moving to White House seven years ago, it is a rare occassion that I set foot in Ace Hardware on 76 and do not hear "What can I help you find?" The folks at Home Depot and Lowe's could certainly learn a lesson in hospitality and customer care from the Ace family. They may not have 72 different varieties of ceiling fans, but it never fails that they have the little doohickey that no one else seems to have.....or even know what I'm talking about.

There is an inherent value in having someone walk you to the item you need, even if you know where it is, and then have them give you an insight on how to use it, a tip or trick; and if they (rarely) say "We don't seem to have that, I'm sorry....." they actually mean it.

To the folks at the White House Ace Hardware, thank you and God Bless You!
