great place to eat. i have found the freshness and creativeness in very few places. what a treat this place is. i suggest a reservation. a week ahead of time may not be enought time if you have a special event to celebrate. the artic circle roll is the best. there is a dress code i think it states no hats and no shorts.
My friends and I went tonight. I was unaware of how incredibly high the prices are! I ordered two sushi rolls. One of them was on the menu - the Igloo - it was horrible and it was $9.50! The other I ordered was one of my favorites - the Crunchy Shrip Roll - it wasn't good and they charged me $8.00 for it! ANYWHERE ELSE, I can get a an eight piece cruchy shrimp roll for $4.50! At the other places I have gone and gotten this roll it has been spectacular! Virago's sushi was terrible. I tried my friends' rolls and they were bad too! As if bad sushi isn't bad enough - I ordered two margaritas, thinking that since they had martinis for $5.00 each then the margaritas - with the well tequila like I asked for - couldn't be more than $7.00, they were $9.00 a piece! And they were watered down! And I understand that this is an upscale restaurant but at upscale restaurants, the food is actually supposed to be upscale too! I would never, ever suggest this place to anyone. Well, unless they wanted to have a bad dinner and pay way too much for it! I will NEVER go back. This place doesn't even deserve one star! HORRIBLE!!
Viragos sushi and atmosphere are the best. They have recently made menu changes that are not as friendly for non sushi goers. If you haven't been for a while please double check the menu.
