    This place offered some good pasta several years ago. I took my girlfriend here on a lunch date and was sad to discover that things had changed for the worst. The overpriced pasta was undercooked and the sauces were nothing to write home about. Eating here was the low part of the day. She said she thought it was okay, but I'm quite positive she was just being nice. I was let down. I won't be in a hurry to return.

    OK. This is Murfreesboro, so let's show some realism. Marinas has a great location, the staff has always been friendly and the food decent. If I put this restaurant in Nashville, Atlanta or Cleveland OH (which has awsome spots) it would be well below average for it's price range, but for the town its in, Marinas really is good.

    complete disappointment: I have been hearing about this restaurant since I moved to Murfreesboro, so I was very excited to dine here. I like the location, but everything else was extremely disappointing. The front room is nice, but we were seated in the back, which has no atmosphere and shares a wall with the kitchen or dish room, which provided a lot of noise. Not to mention, apparently this is the staff's break room. At least five servers came and sat right next to us to eat their meals and took over that room. I realize that this is not a fine dining restaurant, but for their not so modest prices, they could have shown a little more professionalism. And of course the food was nothing special, I had the salmon which I had to quit eating because it looked and smelled too unappetizing. Such a cute spot, but such a disappointment.
