I live in Nashville and am embrassed by this restaurant and it's horrible service and the medicore, expensive food. Recently went there, as saw it rated in an airline "Top 10" list, and it is a restaurant that everyone knows about. I can see why they cater now to tourists from the local big hotels, because if you're a local, one trip is enough. Skip this restaurant that is locked in the 1950's. Very expensive meal that offered tough steak and prime rib and food was cold.
Without question the single most disappointing meal that I ever had and one of the most expensive. My wife and I travel extensively and I thought this would be a wonderful restaurant to take her to. What a mistake. The service was rushed, the medium rare filet mignon was exesively rare. The sides (ala carte) were luke warm and blant at best. I did talked with the manager who did absolutley nothing. I don't normally write reviews but this extremely bad experience lends itself to a must. Please, do yourself a favor and stay away from this restaurant.
I went i tuesday April 21, 2009 with my girlfriend for our one year. We both enjoyed it very much, was pretty pricing but the food was really good, steak maybe alittle dry but still tasted really good, service was very good nice and friendly but not in your face every second, which something I liked since I waited tables for fours and loved it, I think the server did a great job. We couldn't eat desert but it looked awesome as well. It was nice for a special evening, the price is maybe the only turn off, without tip, wine, or desert $131.20 for two people. But we did both enjoy it, and we more than likely will be going back.
