After visiting Rumba (just a few buildings over) and being horribly dissatisfied, we visited Zola for the first time.
We ordered their Asparagus to nibble on while tasting their award-winning Quite a Pear Martini. The ambiance FAR surpassed Rumba. The decor was immaculate, waitstaff were attentive and polite, the clientele were effervescent, the martinis were to DIE for, and the asparagus was some of the best I have ever tasted.
The host was amicable, full of wit and poise, answering our 100s of questions before sitting us. We could not have asked for a better redemption to the night than Zola. We will be returning.
Wonderful Across the Board: Are you looking for a resturant that caters to the fine diner that's also a picky eater? If so, Zola's is the place for you. From the well placed decor to the professional staff to the exquiset food presentation, you will be impressed. The staff is friendly and accomodating and always willing to make a wonderful recommendation. Be prepared to pay a little extra but it's well worth the wonderful meal you will enjoy dining at this one of a kind hideaway in Nashville.
Love your restaurant: We had such a good time. The food--although it didn't come as quickly as we might have liked--was fantastic, world class. This is not the place to go 30 minutes before the symphony, but if you know that the food doesn't come out quickly when it's busy, then you'll be fine, and you'll be very pleased. Actually it's the place to go if you are ALLLLL about food.
