| About: | The Sommet Center is an immense building that hosts impressive events that range from classical concerts to sports. This entertainment center has hosted the Miss Teen America Pageant, a concert by American Idol's Clay Aiken, Sarah McLachlan, Prince, and even the US 2004 Gymanstics Championships. Within the center there are meeting rooms, rehearsal halls, the Levy Restaurant, scoreboards and VIP suite facilities. User Rating: 2 out of 5 starsi was not not impressed, really small to have hosted the CMA's, pretty disappointed.
User Rating: 4 out of 5 starsgec as a hockey venue: Coming from detroit orginally, "hockey town", I believe the GEC is a very formidable venue for hockey. Enjoyed the atmosphere and they actually love hockey in the south too!
