Metropolis is a Manhattan-style jazz club, and on the same floor is Pirhana, a bump and grind dance club that parties until 3a.

The club is big and cold, and the hip hop area is too crowded and they play hip hop music from 3 years ago. i think i heard one up to date song the entire time i was there. on the other hand, the karaoke was fun to watch but that was the only thing that kept me awake. i hated that i did not drive or i would have left after 5 minutesIve only been once, and it was ok. i liked it tho. i like the crowd its always a mixed crowd, almost any race you can thnk of is there. i liked the people, there nice...not too many rude ones. i loved the drinks, but the music was ok it was a mixture of a little everything. on a scale from 1 to 10 i give them a 7.07/19/08 -

I've been there a few times and on several occassions i had to fight my way to dance and when i go there i couldn't move! You do however meet alot of people that are ready to mingle more than any other place in Nashville that i've been too.
