    My boyfriend took me here after years of him travelling to Nashville for work and eating at this restaurant. I was not disappointed! After a day of driving, we stopped in for a to-go order. There was so much to choose from. I have many food sensitivities, so finding food I can eat is often a challenge. The food came quickly without quality being compromised. It was a delicious meal that I could feel good about eating. Staff were friendly and laid back. When in Nashville, eat here! You'll be glad you did!

    Great affordable meals & easy to take toddlers: If you are looking for an inexpensive place to take a family for lunch or dinner...look no further! My husband and I have been taking our young children there for years, the ambience is low-maintenance, but easy-going. There are high chairs, everything is washable, and they always have crayons & a host of toys for young tots. Also, the food is prepared quickly (no waiting so long for the food that young children are screaming by the time it arrives) & they offer cheese pitas my four year old loves! It's great to go out with young children to a place that you can feel comfortable in, not just feed them fries & burgers, and still get a great meal for mommy & daddy, too. In summary, you want a low stress, inexpensive, casual (I recommend early weekday dinner) meal out, than Calypso is for you. Also, my Chicago in-laws request at least one meal here everytime they visit!

    Yummy food: yes...when i have about $8 to spare this fills my tummy without making me feel all yucky inside. the fruit tea is amazing.
