Madea Goes to Jail: It was Saturday December 3rd, the place was sold out for the last tour from Tyler Perry and his crew for this play. At the Auditorium the place was packed but wasn't confusing, everyone found their seats ion a timely and orderly manner and the staff was way above their game in assisting. Although like any event you had the late commers walking in on the middle of the play. And if you were there you know that Madea wasn't having it if you were doign something out of palce and she caught you, you best believe that you were going to be put on blast.
The play was inspirational, funny, and had very good lesson values and advice for relationships in it. It was a wonderful experience for any adult or child. If you've never went to a Tyler Perry play you are definitely missing out on something. He also announced coming soon his lastest project to launch February 24th 2006 'Madea's Family Reunion' the Movie. At the event last night he showed the audience a clip of what to expect from the movie, staring Boris Kodjoe, Cicely Tyson, Tyler Perry himself, Lynn Whitfeild, Blair Underwood, Maya Angelou and many more. If you have seen the play for Family Reunion then you would know what the object of the movie is.
I expect nothing but perfection from Mr Perry and from the looks of it and the support he has especially form his African American audience i do believe he will have another box office hit.
On an ending note the cast gave Nashville a wonderful redition of Oldies singing songs from the 60's to the 70's it was awesome having the audience participate with them. They didn't take no time wasted the play went by without any problems that were visible to the audience.
Overall I rate my experience excellent I will definitely attend another event at the auditorium again. Everything was well organized.
