| About: | This quaint little eatery's charming and simplistic design will transport you to a quiet and picturesque village in Europe. Flower pots blossoming with color, a handwritten menu and oversized sunflowers on the patio complement the simple, white tablecloths and nondescript walls. Strong country flavors arise from piping hot dishes; there's a menu for each day and season. Try the Salmon Carpaccio with Citrus Salad for starters, followed by Roast Pork Chops with Gorgonzola and Roasted Potatoes. A good wine list tops off the meal. |

Disappointing: First to be seated for Sunday brunch. Long wait for drinks, then food. Server less than attentive, None of the 4 of us were happy with the food. Omelets cooked at too high a temp. causing them to be thick skinned & dry. Breakfast steak was low quality cut of gristly meat, covered in a less than savory sauce.
We had heard good things about this place. But the price you pay for sub-standard food and the chance you take going to that part of town, is just not worth it.
Best Restaurant in Nashville: Just think, a new menu every day. Choices are based on the best available products on the market that day and then cooked to perfection. The prices are reasonable and with the ala carte menu you can chose a soup and salad snack at the bar or a full blown 5 course dinner with all the extras.
Speaking of the bar, an extensive wine list with some of the most eclectic choices by the glass or by the bottle. The cocktails are all prepared to order with fresh juices and no premade mixers. The absence of a blender is a blessing in disguise. The only drawback is that there are only 8 seats at the bar and usually it is standing room only for most of the night.
Go for Sunday Brunch if you want great food without the late night crunch - but be sure to make a reservation because it fills up fast.
Romantic and excellent service: Wonderful experience, and very tasty food. This is definitely not your run-of-the-mill restaurant.
