Great programs, great school. I am a graduate of 2 programs here. This is a vocational school, so most of the programs are "work at your own pace" programs. So you get what you put in learning wise. I started my schooling at TTC Dickson and was very disappointed. One of my friends told me about TTC Nashville so instead of throwing my hands up and quitting all together i transfered. It was probably the best descision i have made with my eduaction. This school is very professional and they treat you like a human unlike there sister school in Dickson. I have personally recommended this school to alot of people. It is the best education for the buck around and in many cases better than the private vocational schools in the state based on the handfull of tours i took making my decision where to go.
I am a graduate of Tennessee Technology Center. I learned all that was taught to me and then some on my own. I had a wonderful experience at the school and making plans to go further with mt career. The staff was very helpful and the students--well we were a team. We helped one another as if we and when we would be out in the work place. We were taught that. If a student left the school not knowing something, then it's their fault not the instructors!!! I love Tennessee Technology Center@Nashville.
I have been driving with us xpress for 10 years and i got a student from this school and the school didn't do the job they should have for the 7 week that the course is. My student didn't know a thing about 45 degree backing and his logs were so far off that if he would have been on his own the fines would have been out of this world. Talking to my student he said that the onle thing they really worked on was a lot of book work. No one can learn to drive a truck from a book. It takes a lot of practice and effort. He can do a straight line and a 90 but not much of anything else. If all the the students from this school are like the one that i have then there is something wrong with the school. JOHNNY
