7/7/09 Arrived around 8:15pm. Service was slow and unattentive. Ate the Mahi Mahi and felt I got hooked! Very small portion for such a high price ($18.50) and over cooked. Server was more interested in cleaning the tables and floors around us than serving us. Didn't fill Tea glass until we were ready to pay bill and then gave me sweet instead of unsweet. Waitress was very forgetful. Told manager of my experience when I left. He acted as if he could care less. I won't be back. Good Luck with your visit!
The tuna sandwich is great. Grilled and tasty. Real southern sweet tea. The wait staff attentive and friendly.
Friday night's dinner marked probably our 10th dinner here. Yes, could say that we are regulars. Why do we like it? It's big, it's loud, it's busy and crowded. But that givers the place a lot of energy. Yet, we always seem to get a booth, and one that's quiet enough to chat. My wife and I usually are alone nowadays but in years past our kids would join us. No problem at all taking kids to this place.
Despite the high traffic, the kitchen does well to turn out competent dishes. My usuals range from Fish Tacos and Jambalaya, to Shrimp and Grits. We also usually get the Southwestern Egg Rolls for an appetizer. So far, the food has always been consistent.
Beers. Normally, I do stouts at brew houses. Their Iron Horse is good. A bit of an aftertaste but nothing to worry about. This time, on the recommendation of the waiter, I did the Vienna Lager, do go along with my Fish Tacos. The guy was right. The beer was very good and went well with the fish.
For desert, we've recently developed a bad habit of ordering the carrot cake to go, and take it back to our hotel. Makes for a nice way to end the evening.

I complained to corporate and they were very responsive. They made things right and were very helpful. If I am ever in town again I will give them another try as a result of their responsineness.
