Rembrandt's Coffee House holds a very special place in my heart. While attending college, this coffee house was frequented by me and my girlfriends just about every weekend. The smell of the freshly brewed coffee welcome's you when you first walk in the door, and it always feels like coming home. The amazing and decadant desserts call to you from behind the glass case as you walk around to place your order. My personal favorites have always been the Cafe Mocha with Irish Creme and the never to be forgotten Italian Creme Cake. I have spent many a night talking and laughing with friends until closing, not wanting the evening to end, longing to stay within the magical spell Rembrandt's casts. I cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough. It is always at the top of my list of places to stop whenever I come back to visit my friends that still live in the area. We treasure the times spent there and are grateful to have discovered this place we call "ours." Go, make it yours, too!
This little coffee house is one of the best! It sits in the middle of the art district and offers a great menu, including lunch, with wonderful freshly baked desserts. The atmosphere is great at any time of the day. Sit our on the outside patio and enjoy all that the area offers- very relaxing. The staff is great- they even offered me a free drink to try.
love this place: This is a place to go and get some coffee, sit and talk to a friend. Their pastries are wonderful but the coffee is sometimes a hit or miss. Usually it's good but sometimes it's a miss. Now, I'm not a soup person but they have the most awesome tomato and artichoke soup. Their blueberry muffins and yogurt with fruit are always a great breakfast.
