We write a food blog back in Denver so of course when we came out to Chattanooga we had to find a place to try and St Johns came highly reccomended and it did not dissapoint.
Fantastic well thought out food with a southern tilt. We enjoyed our entire meal and had one of the best pieces of venision either one of us had tasted. If you would like to see a much more detailed review with pictures feel free to visit out blog
well worth the price. Great service and great food. A MUST go to place!!!
My wife and I had dinner at St. John's to celebrate our anniversary. It's housed further down Market Street than I usually go, but the trip was definitely worth the wait. After being recommended highly by my wife's friend, and also my brother-in-law, I had to visit to see if it was as wonderful as they suggested. For our first course, my wife had Corn Stuffed Raviolis, topped with cherry tomatoes and lump crab meat...which was delicious, and I had the Corn and White Bean Soup, which is topped with lobstermeat. For the main course, my wife and I each had the Kobe Beef Zabuton Steak, topped with a pepper relish, placed atop creamy potatoes...it was fantastic. The only problem we had - we were too full for dessert!
