    I'm a local and, in my opinion, Bert's is the best place in town to eat. The pizza is great, always. The salad bar is fresh and has a nice variety of choices. Sandwiches and burgers are very good, and my favorite is Bert's excellent chicken salad croissant. Steaks have a great flavor and are very well prepared. Even the hamburger steak is good, the best I've ever eaten. If you order Bert's large, loaded baked potato, be aware that the thing, though delicious, must weigh at least two pounds!
    Employees at Bert's are helpful, friendly and do a good job. Nobody's perfect and there could be a day when your order seems to come a little slowly, but the good news is that the food is worth waiting for!
    Tennessee has a no-smoking in resturants law, so that won't be an issue for anyone. (Except the smokers who will have to wait to light up. Most of them don't seem to mind anyway, so it's been a good thing for all of us.)

    Good food, but Bert really needs to make the resturant bigger. It is always so busy for dinner, and you have to wait so long to get a table. The wait staff is great, and the food normally really good. Friendly place to meet and eat.

    Good food. Their Chicago Chicken is my favorite, and their steaks are great too. Never had a bad experience there (knock on wood :-). Been there many times. Always clean, always friendly.
