User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsThis is the best Japanese restaurant in Johnson City. I worked there for almost 3 years. I ate a meal every single day that I worked and most of the time on my days off. Absolutely amazing price for the amount of food you get. Every time I come back in town Yamato's is the first place I go to eat at.

I love this restaurant. Probably because I work there, but I was eating there long before I became an employee. The food is delicious, and the prices are super cheap! Not to mention the service is great! (: Anyone who wants to complain about getting stuffed, at a cheap price, obviously isn't from the south and are tight butt nincompoops. I can tell you of every customer i have had they all have loved it. And the chicken broth is actually meso soup she was new and didn't know what it was called, it actually has several different spices and the flavor is amazing. The person that wrote the review just wanted something to talk about. Highly recomend this restaurant. (:

The food is great for the price and theres so much you can eat up to 2 or 3 times more. I hiiighly recommend!!
