Clean and tasteful. I like this restaurant a lot. They have some sizzling dishes that literally come out sizzling, fresh and delicious.
Not impressed with the food: I went to Imperial Garden this afternoon for lunch. For my first visit, it was a rather mixed one. The hot n' sour soup, which I normally use as a standard for gauging a good Chinese restaurant was excellent. The flavors were balanced and it had a great taste. The service was great, although I'm still wondering why the waiter initially poured water all over the floor as he was filling my glass. The service overall was great and the feel of the restaurant is very nice, and classy, unlike some of the local establishments.
I had the Spicy Chicken lunch special. When they brought out my food it was presented well, and it looked very tasty. But, when I began to eat, I found that the chicken was incredibly tough, this wasn't to my liking in the least!
After this experience, if I go there again in the future, it will be only for the Hot 'n Sour soup!
Favorite Chinese Restaurant: Great service. Very willing to accommodate individual requests.
