Kingsport Ballet is the best school I could have chosen to attend. The artistic director, Valeria Sinyavskaya is an amazing teacher and choreographer. Staging classical ballets such as Swan Lake, Sleeping Beauty, and Giselle has proven how talented and wonderful Ms. Valeria is! Ms. Valeria has brought professionals from all around the world to perform principal roles and teach classes such as ballet, partnering, and character dance. She is a wonderful teacher and I would not be the dancer I am today with out her. Along with Ms. Valeria, the rest of the teachers is truly fantastic. Not to mention the executive director, Bertina Dew who has done so much for our school. Without her, we would not have beautiful handmade costumes, classical tutus from Russia, hand painted backdrops from Russia, and a well run studio. The staff and students are welcoming and helpful. If you're looking for a ballet studio in the East Tennessee area, Kingsport Ballet is definitely the place to come!
