User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsThe Best "Non-Touristy" Restaurant in Gatlinburg: I have eaten at this off-the-beaten-path restaurant on 3 occasions and have always left extremely happy. Fox & Parrott has an excellent selection of beer, including lots of local Southern brews. The owners, chefs and bartenders are very hospitable. The chili made with Bass Ale is the best I've ever eaten, as is the Corned Beef & Hash. Portions are large and everything is hot and freshly cooked. A great change from the tacky, cookie-cutter fast food, ice cream parlors and steakhouses in downtown Gatlinburg. If you're looking for a friendly pub atmosphere, delicious food and a non-smoking environment, this is the place for you.

Rude staff and health department dirty! Waited for over 20 for a drink and got excuse after excuse!
I own the Fox & Parrot and the review from "cinci ohio" is a bunch of CRAP! I have ALL of my Health department scores going back to opening in 1998 and we have never gotten a failing score...EVER. Nobody has EVER waited 20 minutes for a table OR a drink even when the wait to be seated at a restaurant downtown can exceed 2 hours.
