User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsI stopped in at Heavy's last weekend with my 2 sons expecting your average BBQ...I was surprised. If you haven't been to this place you MUST go. I was visiting last weekend but am I moving back to the area...can't wait to go back! Must have more Heavy's BBQ! It was delicious!!
User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsAwesome drive...really scenic...love the river...authentic hole in the wall atmosphere...the sauce is like the nector from God's balls...the food is heavanly...the Heavy's dogs are awesome too...Heavy's is definitely a must...even if you don't like BBQ, you should go!

Best BBQ in Tennessee! I got more butt there then I have ever had in my life and it taste great! Pigs butt (Pork) that is, oh yeah and a cool t-shirt that said just that. You have to check them out. It is out the way, back in no place and the road is so narrow you think your going to drive off into the Powell River but once you get there and see the run down shack, your thinking oh heck, where am I. Then they bring out the butt and your in Pig Eat'n Heaven!
Go on walk on the back country, hill billy side of life and enjoy something so damn good you will keep going back for more!
