Good Buffet. Kinda a "Cracker Barrel" atmosphere, with better food.

I really wish I could write a good review here because the food is good, the service is good and the general store is very cute. However, I'm not too sure about the management. Today, me, my huband and two-year-old son ate breakfast there right as it was turning over to lunch. For some reason the owner's wife felt the need to send a waitress to take back our reciept and recalulate it to include an extra $1 fee because our two-year-old also ate a few bites of the lunch after they stopped serving breakfast. Was this really required? The waitress apologized for it and seemed embarrassed to have to take our reciept back and I don't blame her. I wouldn't do this to my customers just to gain a buck. The Dinner Bell made an extra dollar but lost two custmers. We normally drive thirty minutes to go eat at the Dinner Bell, we will just stay a little closer to home now.

Everything was awesome!!!!My husband's company is in Chattanooga so he has to drive there periodically for different business reasons. He'd always seen the billboard and wanted to stop in just to check out the store and try the restaurant but never had. We went to his company picnic on Oct 4, 2008, and decided this would be a perfect time to try it--especially because we had the entire family with us. I ordered from the menu, which I came to regret, simply because my husband did get the buffet and kept letting me sample anything he got. EVERYTHING on the buffet bar was not only fresh but absolutely delicious!! I only regretted ordering off the menu because my selection was more limited than if I had gotten buffet. I also was very pleased with the prices on the menu and for the buffet as well. The entire family was, and this including my picky-eater son-in-law, very much satisfied and most definitely will be returning as soon as we can. I highly recommend them to everyone.
