House fly in tea-sorry service: We ate at Chesapeake's on 7/7/06 and were very disappointed--The service was very substandard and slow--and food was extremely greasy--the worst was my wife ask for a refill on her ice tea and the waiter poured it and walked off and she saw a dead house fly floating in the tea--we were finally able to get another waiters attention (our waiter seemed to have disappeared) and told him the problem--then the manager finally brought her a new glass of tea---when we got the bill they had charged for the tea--I told the waiter that I thought that was alittle brash and he said OK I can take that off and then added the manager said he was taking the tea charge off ( I then wondered if the waiter had even looked at our bill altho he had to to bring it to us). No one ever apologized for the fly in the tea---we will not go back to Chesapeake's

Best seafood in Knoxville: I have eaten at Chesapeke's numerous times. Lunch is an outstanding value, though dinner is a little pricey. The seafood is fresh and presented well. Lately they have had a habit of running out of featured dishes in the evenings. If you are in Knoxville and want seafood this is the best Knoxville can offer, by far.
