The partnership between these two men lasted until 1971, at which time Shields kept the name BeautyLawn Spray, Inc. and took over the original company. Shields and his two sons took care of the company until 1980, when Larry Shields and Christy Shields quit their jobs and began running BeautyLawn Spray.
