User Rating: 4 out of 5 starsGreat little bar!: Located across the street from the former, late- great punk club 'The Antenna' (now a lesbian bar: The Madison Flame) Murphy's has taken up the musical mantle of it former neighbor. Murphy's is a great place to see a punk band or rock-n-roll show. Seems like most of the younger, rockabilly and punk bands that come through town play here, as well as a fair share of local bands.
They have great burgers and 'pub grub' for lunch and full bar and choice of beers. A back room pool table and outdoor patio area provide good conversation spots, between sets.
User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsMurphy's ROCKS!: Murphy's has THE BEST burger in town...The drinks are great and very inexpensive as Happy Hour runs from 11:30am -7pm. Longnecks are ice cold and $2 all-day until 7pm. The staff is quirky but attentive. You can even enjoy the patio while using the Wifi. The jukebox is one of the best I've seen, offering 2000 cds and the capability to download anything you don't find in the vast array. Go to Murphy's and check out the music line up or just hang out...you'll be glad you did!
