    A & R is the best barbecue in Memphis. Top's use to be the best, i have never tried Neely's. But since I've been going to A & R, I wont go anywhere else. The only thing I've tried, is the jumbo pork combo, the rib tip plate and the smoked sausage with slaw and barbecue sauce. OMG the best you ever tried. I stay in Raleigh and go way to South Memphis just to get a sandwich,a piece of cheesecake and a tea.

    This is great Bar-B-Q!!! We live in Chicago and stopped by A & R on our way home from Mississippi, it was wonderful. The ribs were so tender the meat was falling off the bones, and the pulled pork sandwich is out of this world, and The staff was wonderful. The next time I am in Memphis I am going to buy extras to take home.

    A & R Barbeque, Elvis Presley Blvd. Great barbeque!
    BelAir Restaurat, great steaks on Thursdays, eight bucks, great entertainment. Macon Rd. by the penal farm!
    Silky Sullivans, Beale Street, great entertainment!
