| About: | A favorite with Memphians, this restaurant is where they take visitors for fun atmosphere and food. Technically, the ribs served at the Rendezvous are not barbecuethey are char-grilled with a dry rub of spices. But the slabs of ribs are huge, tender and reasonably priced. Barbecue sandwichesfilled with rich and juicy shreds of porkas well as portions of both pork and beef ribs is a specialty here. Antique implements, signs and artifacts of the old South fill the warehouse-like space. The tables are close together, but the noise and crowds are part of the fun. |

the people that work there have a attitude, it was like they think they were doing you a favor . we did not eat there we left when the waiter hollered at us . we decided he was not give him my hard earned money. hope a lot of people read this .oh yeah memphis is not a place to visit unless you are a drinker and can over look the attitude of the people work in that part of town

My family had a blast. We had godd fortune to meet Pat Donohue who sent over some amazing appetizers for us to try and also sent us home with a bag of goodies! Ribs are highly seasoned with excellent char and the sauces are awesome. Great Memphis hospitality.
