We went to the Butcher Shop July 8th,it was our first time and our last! There was 4 of us and all of our steaks were over cooked, our waiter came to our table and asked if everything was ok and I said everyones steak is over cooked,he said hmm and turned and walked away.I have never had anything like that happen to me before! He never said would you like another or would you like something else!!SAD!!We knew at that point we were stuck with it,so we tried to eat it,yuk.I ordered a fillet it was the worst cut of meat ever,it was dry and had no taste at all.My friend sent her top sirloin back because she couldn't cut it!To top it off after everyone complained about the food the manager never came to our table to apologize!!Some steakhouse!PLEASE DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!!
Cordova location: Nice atmosphere, basic service. The steaks aren't that great. I've been a few times over the years. A couple of the steaks have been good, but the rest not so. Sometimes quite bad - where you can actually hear your knife griding on little gristles and stuff. Sometimes I have been forced to swallow chunks whole because I just couldn't break them down...and I only get filets or NY strips, med or med-rare - have had trouble with all. To top it off, once I was eating some spinach dip and found myself chewing on a little metal twisty thing - probably use to hold a bag closed, like a bread twist-tie. Told the waiter and they just said sorry - This sort of thing should be immediately reported to management who should then deal with it appropriately. The place can be fun if you drink and some guys want to just go out and have some beer and steak somewhere - so I'll probably be back sometime, but not if I'm picking the place and want to be guaranteed a good steak.
okay not going back...: eat at your own risk lol
