A really great restaurant with great food. And the prices are very reasonable.
My favorite place to get a good steak at a reasonable price. The service at the Midtown location is always good and my wife and I almost never have to wait for a table. I order my steaks medium rare and they have never failed to come out just right. Sure I like Ruth's Chris, The Butcher Shop and Folks Folly, but for the price and service, Outback can't be beaten.
Why in the world would anyone want to come to Memphis and go to a chain restaurant???? If you are in Memphis, go to locally run establishments and ENJOY some GREAT FOOD!! EXPLORE!!! For petesake you are in the BBQ CAPITAL OF THE WORLD

I'll tell you why. Because Outback Steakhouse on Union is one of if not the best run Outback in the US. I used to work there and I can tell you that the owner believes in the quality of food and customer service above all. Infact the owner actually works in the kitchen as manager quite a lot, I've known him to jump behind the line many a time to make sure food was done right and on time. And trust me, if you live in memphis, you can only eat bbq so much. What may be great to you guys, is normal to us :P Not to mention some of those bbq joints charge far more than they should for the quality/ammount of their food.
