The food and service are second to none. Their hamburgers are great tasting and a good value!!!
User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsJ Alexander's is by far the best restaurant in the Memphis area. The steaks and seafood are always fresh and perfectly seasoned and are accompanied by very generous side dishes. The blue cheese coleslaw is one-of-a-kind and I recommend that you start your meal with the humongous tower of onion rings. J Alexander's offers a great assortment of delicious cocktails and they are not stingy with the cocktail ingredients, if you know what I mean(!) My husband says they have the very best Manhattan he's ever had. J Alexander's reminds us of an old-school elegant Chicago steakhouse. It is where we always take family & friends because the menu offers something for everyone. Customer service has always been the absolute best every time we've been and the atmosphere is such that it's impossible to not feel comfortable and cozy: you will leave feeling especially satisfied.
