We have seen Dr. Charles since I had my first child (for a total of 6 years). The office staff is knowledgeable, accommodating and understanding. I love that it's a family practice and not a large multi-doc conglomerate. Feels like family every time I walk in. We have rarely had to wait. The one time we did wait was when I walked in off the street unannounced because my son had a strange blister in his mouth. He worked me in with a smile and didn't make me feel bad for just walking in and freaking out. They are also understanding about patience who do not have ins. They offer cost effective alternatives to things that would normally cost an arm and a leg. They don't mind moms calling just wondering what to do with a sick child. They never overreact and Dr. Charles is conservative with the medicine he prescribes to children, especially antibiotics. He was also great when it came to getting my infants to sleep through the night. He basically trained us and our children were sleeping through the night at 3 months.
I lucked up by learning of Dr. Charles from my Obstetrician. My Obstetrician recommended Dr. Charles to me highly while I was pregnant. When I was placed on hospital bedrest at 26 weeks, I had not yet interviewed Pediatricians for my son. I called Dr. Charles' office & told them my situation. He came to the hospital so I could interview him! When my son was born 9 weeks later & went to NICU, he checked on him first thing the next morning & gave me a full account of how my son was doing. He's a wonderful doctor that takes great care not only with his patients, but also the patients' parents.
We love him! The only doctor ever that actually answers the phone himself when you call. We never had to wait. He has been my daughter's doctor since she was one day old and he is great with her, it's amazing!

when we were expecting we just asked our few friends about the pediatrician and we chose Dr Yukon among them. we didnt even interview him before my daughter was born. He came and visited us the very next day of my delivery and we were very much impressed with him.we just loved his way of treating kids and their parents.but the thumbs down part comes here. I dont know whats happening there nowadays. Somehow they changed our doctor to the other doctor called Dr Catherine in his clinic and for our 4th,6th and 9th month appointment she is only coming to consult us....even though we never chose her. We got a doubt and we asked with the receptionist there and she gave some unsusal reasons for that. so we asked her to give our 12th month appointment with Dr Yukon itself and she gave us the appointment with him. but when we called to make sure the appointment date later they are saying we dont have any appointment with Dr Yukon...even Dr Yukon spoke to us and he said their database doesnt show any appointment for us with him. This is happening to many of my friends. They choose Dr Yukon but Dr Catherine appears in the hospital. one more thing is we just reffered Dr Yukon to one of friend who recently moved in here from some other state. But when they called Dr Yukon's office they said Dr Yukon doesnt consult any transferred patients so Dr Catherine will consult them. Is it really so? or if there is something going on? we are very much dissapointed with all these.....
Dr Yukon only sees children from birth and does not see transferred children--however, Dr. Catherine does take new children at whatever age.
