I go to Asahi at least once a week. It is so good. It is definitely my favorite restaurant in Jackson.

I placed a to go order and was told it would take 15 minutes. I arrived at the restaurant ten minutes after I placed the order. Once I arrived it took at least five minutes for an employee to acknowledge my presence. I then was told to wait at the bar and did so for an additional 15 minutes. While I was waiting numerous employees passed me by without even so much as asking me if I would like something to drink while I waited. After the 15 minutes a server then spoke to me and said that my sushi rolls would be ready in about seven minutes or so. I then decided that they didnt need my buisness because they didnt earn it. On a totally separate occasion, I seen a big man, who looked like one of the owners walk into the place and imeadiately seek out a paying customer who had parked is car tires on the curb of the PARKING lot. He then called out the customer while he was eating and told him to move his car because it wasnt parked correctly. A very unprofessional owner if you ask me or others for that matter. The food is really good but if you like spending your money at an establishment where you feel appreciates it, then this is NOT the place to go. I give it two stars for overall experience.

We went here for my bro-in-laws birthday and had 25 or so people. We had two Hibachi grills reserved. They put on a show with the food and fire and it is such a great experience! You don't go hungry , because they feed you constantly! The food is great also! Just a wonderful place all around!
