    Regarding the posting by bet. If you had let them know they would have made it right. I worked there many moons ago and never fail to stop in several times when I am back in town. Yes, they could probably use a little facelift, but that is also part of the charm. If anyone were to read all the review yours is the orange in the apple cart. Bells is what it is and has been for over 50 years now and that is simply the best burger house this side of Iheaven!! I say this with total confidence considering I have lived and traveled in more places than most. I judge every burger I have next to Bells and they don't compare. Give them another shot and if there is a problem, let them know.. They can't fix it otherwise. :-)

    It's been voted best burger in Tennessee several years running for a reason...GREAT BURGERS! My wife, daughter and I have made it a ritual to drive down to Henderson at least once a month to whet our appetites for those savory, delicious burgers. It's definitely worth the drive if you live in the West TN area or are just visiting. Just remember to bring cash!

    Decent food, great prices, friendly down home atmosphere with lots of locals, fantastic milkshakes, but be prepared to wait a long time during peak dining hours. Definitely NOT the BEST BURGERS THIS SIDE of HEAVEN as claimed, but a good burger for the money. And it is cooked FRESH when you order it. Old time atmosphere but in sincere need of a remodel and horrid bathrooms. But this is SMALL TOWN AMERICA at it's finest!
