User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsLet's just explain one thing. This is the kind of restaurant that has cheap prices because you don't pay for marble floors and beautiful bathrooms. THe place is clean, simple, and does not have any ornate decor. However, IT HAS THE BEST FOOD IN TOWN. The owner is fabulous community oriented. He comes back from vacation early because he loves his job so much. really, the food there is incredible. You have to try it. The prices are all clearly marked with signs on the buffet, salad bar, and desert tray.

The owner and his staff are all good folks who make you feel welcome and let you know that they appreciate your business. Recent renovations have made it even better. It is an out of the way place that you will be glad you found. The variey of the food they serve please anyone who eats there.

My family and I went to the restaurant on a Sunday after church. It is off the main highways, but easy enough to find. The servers were nice and always helpful. We opted for the lunch buffet. The smoked meat was very good, well cooked and tender. It was not explained that the salad bar was not included in the buffet as is normal in other restaurants. The dessert had a sign saying it would be extra. The okra was old, spiny and not fit to eat. The country vegetables were good, but not spectacular. The restrooms were small and not very clean. At least we can say we have been there and were filled.
