    I don't doubt that Taylor Grocery serves the best catfish in town, it's just that I didn't get a chance to try it for myself. I met my party about 15-20 minutes late (I got lost in Taylor). When I asked the hostess if I could join my party, she rudely replied that since their orders had already been taken, "I could sit, but not eat." There wasn't an extra chair nearby, so I had to search for one, and bring it back to the table. Neither the hostess or the server offered me even a side salad or a bowl of soup (which I would have paid and tipped for), but at least the server was considerably more polite than the hostess.

    Great catfish, great atmosphere.: One of my favorite places to eat around a town filled with great places to eat. Go soon... you'll be back.

    Always Wonderful: I have been there many many times and the catfish is better then any I have ever tasted. The location and atmosphere is also very enjoyable. Oh and remember BYOB!
