This restaurant was highly recommended by desk at the Fairfield Hotel. I went with high expectations. I left not so elated.
Our server could not tell us where the shrimp originated. He stated that the chef did not come to work that day. (it was Friday evening at 5pm.)
Also the corn was previously frozen. I cannot understand why this restaurant could not serve fresh corn available from the many farms in the region.
If you are unconcerned about the origins of your food, visit this restaurant. The service is good, but uninformed.
Great place
I enjoyed this restaurant several times while traveling for work and definitely recommend it. Good food, Service, and atmosphere.
A PLEASANT SURPRISE: My friend and I love to try new restaurants so we decided to give this place a try since we both love seafood. The food was wonderful. I was disappointed that neither lobster nor crab legs were on the menu but everything we did try was superb. They had flounder, mahi mahi, tilapia, tuna, and catfish on the menu with your choice of several sauces that seemed tasty. I sampled the shrimp etouffe, and it was ok...the gravy should have been heavier...creamier, but the flavor was still good. We ordered the tilapia with a cream sauce. The fish was nice and flaky, the veggies were freshly steamed and crispy and the mixed drinks were deliciously on point. Great service...so so atmosphere. I will definitely be going back.
