User Rating: 2 out of 5 starswe went to vanellis and opted for the grape leaves. our mistake the lemon sauce that was barely there, was horrid, the grape leaves. were under cooked and hard not to mention cold. the service was lousy what a waste of money

waited on our food for over an hour. We both ordered a steak. Mine well done,his medium well. Both steaks came to the table so raw that we swore we heard it mooing. Wanted to send them back,but our waitress,and it seemed all other waitress's had completely disappeared. We tried to eat what we thought were the most cooked parts,and decided not to complain,as it was our first date out together in years. We paid the WAY OVER PRICED bill of $50(very much not worth the money)and i even left a nice tip for our disappearing waitress.
We are both up now at 5am on a saturday morning with what feels like food poisoning. Vanellis was our favorite date restruant about 10yrs ago. Oh how things have changed since papa vanelli passed away. The service and the food have gone way down,while the prices have doubled. I would have refused to pay if i was a snooty person. 
User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsWonderful! Great all around, friendly service and outstanding food. The greek salad is by far the best salad I have ever had! The gyros are outstanding as well and their fries are nice sized and cooked and seasoned just right. My children ordered the chicken tenders..they taste just like homemade!! Highly recommended!
