The worst ever...They claim the teach the kids all kinds of Spanish, etc. My child has yes to speak it other than what she has learned from "Dora". The Webcam is set up where you can't really see your kids in the classroom nor outside. The teacher doesn't seem educated. They have a high turnover on staff and really is over price for the quaility they service...
My children love Wee Care! I have two little girls that have been at Wee Care most of their lives and I am so happy that I found this center! Their teachers have always been really sweet to them and I have always felt like they are well taken care of. The girls love their friends, the playground, their dance class, and Mrs. Janelle, "the kitchen lady"! The ladies in the office are always really sweet and take the time to call me about my girls if needed. I love the webcams and am so glad that Wee Care came to Byram. I highly recommend this center!
My child attended the Wee Care in Byram for about 2 mos and it was awful. The staff wasn't attentive of the students as they should have been, especially for the cost. (e.g. instead of singing nursery rhymes and having the children participate, they would play records and let the children run wild) The teacher that my son had obviously didn't care if he learned or not, never saw her (via Web Cam) have any one on one interaction with the children, except for letting them scribble all over paperwork just to have something to send home on the weekends. Inside of Wee Care, germs spread like wildfire. Colds, viruses, and ringworms seem to be the norm there. My son's nose ran the entire 2 mos he went to Wee Care. We gave him all kinds of meds but nothing worked. The administrative front office staffs' main concerns were weekly tuition, account balances, and late fees. I was dropping my son off at the center one morning and upon entering his class, i noticed two classes combined with consisted of about 20-25 children, all running wild, pushing each other, screaming, etc. Meanwhile, there were 2 teachers in the class, over to the side talking, not paying attention to the children. Overall, i give the center a negative one for unconcerned/uninvolved staff, having a clean surface but germy residue underneath the surface, overrated tuition costs, and poor teaching habits. Parents...be sure to really inspect these centers before leaving your child at any center. And, if they have web cam, put the equipment to use. Lastly, pay attention to detail. It matters...especially to your child.
