User Rating: 4 out of 5 starsWe arrived about 6:00 on a Saturday night, and to our suprise, it was not very packed. The hostess was very nice and our waitress was too. The food is a little expensive, but everyone at our table really enjoyed it. I got the prime rib sandwich and most everyone else got the fried catfish and it was all great. The rooms upstairs where "madeline" lives was very creepy. Great for "ghost hunters". Our hostess even "attempted" to scare a few of the people in our party until she realized they were in the dark upstairs. She quickly changed her mind. Overall, the atomosphere, food and experience were great. Just remember, its a bit pricey, but worth the experience.

Nov 8, 2008 we had a party of 37 eat at Kings Tavern Natches Ms. Made reservations in advance and for a group that size were given option of Prime rib, Fish plate.$24.00 a meal.I think the prime rib was zapped in the micro wave baked potatos cold .Fish plates were worse.
Service bad. Some tables had to wait a while before they could eat waiting on utensils.Some tables did not get any bread till after they were finished with meal.It was hard to pay the 20% tip that was added to the meals for the service that we recieved. -

Was at the Tavern Thursday night (09/11/08) Food and service was good. Had been there last Oct and the experience wasn't so good. This time, food and service had improved 1000 times.
