    The address and phone are wrong on this site - they have moved down the street to 303 Canal.

    I don't know what the fuss is about - it was an exceedingly average dining experience. Maybe since they moved things have changed, but it was just like eating at a Mexican chain restaurant - maybe with less atmosphere.

    Great little hole in the wall! Nice garden out back. I had a half dozen Fat Mama's Tamales and a Knock You Naked Margarita. We drove back home the next day and...umm...we had to unroll the windows... Fat Mama was Talkin' ! oh well.. bring the mylanta with you, this was worth it. They are building a new site across the street, I hope it doesn't lose any of its character when they get their new place!

    Fat Mama's Tamales in Natchez is open the following hours.
    Monday - Thursday 11:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m.
    Friday and Saturday 11:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m.
    Sunday 12:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.

    The information yahoo has posted about hours of operation is incorrect.

    Fat Mama's Tamales is a wonderful place with a laid back atmosphere and great music. Their Knock You Naked Margaritas are delicious and tamale pie is one of a kind. I recommend everyone try Fat Mama's at least once.

    Also they have a website, check it out if you are unable to make it to natchez, ms
