I took my vehicle in for rear brakes and a oil change. I was not asked what kind of oil I wanted and they put in a type I do not use. That was the good part. In regards to the brakes, they did not know what they were doing. Fortunately I have a lot of automotive experience and 2 college degrees in the automotive arena. I would have reopaired the brakes myself, but I am relocating to the area and do not have my tools with me. I did however do most of the work on my own brakes or they would not have been done correctly, or repaired that day and I would have been out of a vehicle until they could have repaired it. The whole scenario was a joke in regards to customer service, skill level and competency. The mechanic was a bright kid and he listened and he learned how to do rear brakes with much better ability than before I helped him. I also paid $160.00 for brake pads, 5 quarts of oil and a filter and as I mentioned most of the work on the brakes. If left to their own I would have had to buy two drums, a brake line, a wheel cylinder and brake hardware which would have amounted to probably a $500.00 cost for their lack of ability. I will not go back for even a oil change.
