    This was our first and will be our last time coming here. We had heard this place was good - WAS might be the operative word here. We ordered crab cake appetizers that appeared to come from a Gorton's box and started out with the smallest salad bowl I had ever seen including imitation bacon bits. The shrimp p' boy and stuffed flounder were terrible. The wait staff was decent when we first arrived but as others came in and sat around us they were asking where the wait staff was. They did not show up much after that. This place has potential but unfortunately will not make it if this is what they offer. Too bad because it is in our neighborhood. We will stick with the Crab Shack down the road from now on...

    My mom grew up in New Orleans and I used to take her to Sal & Phil's for lunch when she visited while I lived in Ridgeland. We agreed that S&P is the most authentic NOLA style po-boys and seafood in the jackson area.
