Sollys are absolutely the best tamales - ever! I have been eating them since before I could walk - for 40 years now! Get them to go and go eat and go to lookout and watch Mississippi go by. The best.

SOLLY'S HAS THE BEST TAMALES! I HAVE BEEN EATING THEM SINCE I WAS OLD ENOUGH TO EAT! IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR AMBIANCE, YOU WON'T FIND IT HERE. IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR THE ABSOLUTE BEST TASTING, MOISTEST TAMALES AROUND, YOU WILL EXPERIENCE THAT HERE. THE OWNERS ARE SOLLY'S FAMILY AND ARE USING THE SAME LOCATION, POTS AND RECIPE THAT OLD MAN SOLLY USED. HIGHLY RECOMMENED!!!!!!!!

The owners of Sollys is NOT Mr. Solly's family. Yes, they have the name, the building, the pots etc. BUT NOT THE RECIPE. You need to go to the restaurant his daughter owns which is in the same town.
