User Rating: 4 out of 5 starsI went on a Saturday night. The fried oysters were really good, some of the best around. The band was good, really loud, but good. They probably wanted them to be really loud to encourage people to drink more so they would lose all sense of sound. My only complaint was something they couldnt control, there were a lot of "hard legs" just looking for women. Dont get me wrong, I dont have a problem with guys trying to pick up women but some of these characters were just freaking women out. Maybe they should give the ladies free cover to balance the men to women ratio a little bit.
User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsMy new favorite place in J-Miss: I went to the reseviour looking for the Dock, w place I use to frequent when I was on business trips to Jackson, MS. The Dock closed, but I found Shuckers. It is like the Pink Pony in Gulf Shores combined with Bourbon Street in Jackson, TN. World class fun. Oh yea and cheers to the bartender that is the sister-in-law to the owner. Cool chic!!!
User Rating: 4 out of 5 starsGreat Bands, Good Food, Great Place to Dance!: This is a great place to go for music and dancing. A variety of bands and music every weekend. Food is not always consistant; sometimes the fried foods are not as crispy as they should be. But they take it off the bill if you let the waitstaff know. Superb waitstaff...always there when needed but not annoying. Will definately go back. Even got a free tequilla shot on my birthday!
